Full Maritime Course 

The course is made up of 3 course STCW95/10, Maritime Security, Maritime Firearms.  The course is designed to prepare the student for work in the maritime security industry and has been developed for field operatives in maritime security awareness and emergency response training.

Key Facts The course is run over 14 days and covers all aspects of the Maritime Security.


To register for this qualification, learners are required to meet the following entry requirements:

This qualification is approved for delivery to learners aged 18 and over.

Security operatives are likely in the course of their work to be required to make calls to the emergency services, or need to communicate clearly to resolve conflict. It is therefore essential that security operatives are able to communicate clearly. and have a baseline level of English and maths at level 1.

All students will complet a swimming test on the STCW course this is a pass of fail.
you will have to tread water and complet a 200m swim.

Due diligence must be carried out on all personnel before attending as laid down by Security Investigation & Risk Solutions Ltd and the Security Companies. Therefore the following items must be met before Signing up:

  1. You must produce an original Current Criminal Record Background Check CRB/DBS (dated within the last Three months)
  2. In date Passport or driving licence.
  3. Every individual must supply 2 Passport photographs with their name on the back.

Rifle familiarization including stripping and assembly

Immediate Action drills (stoppage drills)
Shooting from various positions

successful candidates will have the opportunity to work within the Maritime industry on vessels tranisting though the high risk area protection from  piracy and the opertunity to work on cruse ships carrying out security dutiys.
